This is the product obtained by acetylation of a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide consisting of D-arginine, L-isoleucine, D-leucine, D-lysine, D-phenylalanine, D-tryptophan and D-valine with an amidated C-terminus; the L-conformation sequence is based on a 12-amino-acid segment from Vipericidin, a peptide found in the eastern brown snake.
