This is a synthetic copolymer formed from vinylpyrrolidone, dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, diacetone acrylamide, hydroxypropyl acrylate, and one or more acrylic or methacrylic acid monomers, used in cosmetics as a film-forming and hair-fixative agent.
