This crosspolymer is a blend of algin (from brown algae), pullulan (a fungal fermentation polysaccharide), xanthan gum (bacterial fermentation), and astragalus gummifer gum (tragacanth, from plant exudate), crosslinked with polylactic acid and microcrystalline cellulose. It is used as a film-forming and texturizing agent in cosmetics.
