Is Alpha-Santalol vegan?

Alpha-Santalol is a sesquiterpene alcohol that makes up about 55% of sandalwood oil, obtained by steam distillation of the heartwood of Santalum album; it is valued in perfumery for its woody sandalwood aroma.
