Is Aluminum Myristate vegan?

Aluminum Myristate is the aluminum salt of myristic (tetradecanoic) acid, used as a thickening and opacifying agent in cosmetics. Myristic acid can be derived from plant or animal fats but the commercial ingredient is typically synthetic or plant-derived.
