Is Aluminum Stearates vegan?

Aluminum Stearates is a mixture of aluminum distearate and aluminum tristearate, aluminum salts of stearic acid used as thickeners, emulsifiers and lubricants; stearic acid can be sourced from either plant oils or animal fats.
