Is Barbituric Acid vegan?

Barbituric acid, also known as malonylurea or 6-hydroxyuracil, is a synthetic organic compound based on a pyrimidine ring structure. It is the parent compound of barbiturate drugs, though it has no pharmacological activity itself; it was first synthesized by Adolf von Baeyer.
