Is Bee vegan?

Bee

Not Vegan

Bees are winged insects of the clade Anthophila within the superfamily Apoidea, with over 20,000 known species. In cosmetics, bee-derived ingredients include honey, beeswax, propolis, and royal jelly. These are generally considered vegetarian (as bees are not killed in most harvesting) but not vegan; however, some bee-derived harvesting practices may harm bees, creating ethical ambiguity.
