Is Beta-Glucan vegan?

Beta-Glucan is a polysaccharide consisting of β(1-3), β(1-4), and β(1-6) linked glucose units, naturally occurring in the cell walls of plants, bacteria, algae, and fungi; used in cosmetics for its moisturizing and soothing properties.
