This ingredient is an extract of the product obtained by fermentation of deer antler velvet together with several plant and fungal materials — including Angelica gigas, Angelica tenuissima root, Rehmannia glutinosa root, Atractylodes japonica rhizome, Cnidium officinale root, Cordyceps sinensis, Ledebouriella seseloides root, licorice root, Paeonia lactiflora root, Panax ginseng root, and Phellinus linteus — using the microorganism Bifida. Because it contains deer antler velvet, an animal-derived material harvested from live deer, it is not considered vegan or vegetarian.
