Is Bromophenol Blue vegan?

Bromophenol Blue is a synthetic pH indicator and electrophoretic colour marker of the triphenylmethane family, prepared by bromination of phenolsulfonphthalein. It is widely used in gel electrophoresis, titrations, and as a tracking dye.
