Is Bromsulphthalein vegan?

Bromsulphthalein (BSP) is a synthetic phthalein dye used clinically in liver function tests; the rate of its removal from the bloodstream serves as a measure of hepatic function. The liver detoxifies BSP by conjugating it with glutathione.
