Is Brown FK vegan?

Brown FK is a synthetic brown food and textile dye consisting of a mixture of six azo dyes, often combined with sodium chloride and/or sodium sulfate. It is highly water-soluble and was historically used to colour kippers (smoked herring).

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources.
