Is Calcofluor White vegan?

Calcofluor White is a synthetic fluorescent brightening agent that binds to beta-1,3 and beta-1,4 polysaccharides in the cell walls of fungi, plants, and protozoa. It is widely used in biology for staining fungal and plant cell walls, and in medicine for the identification of fungi in biopsy specimens.
