Is Down vegan?

Down is the soft, fluffy undercoating of waterfowl, particularly ducks and geese. It is harvested as a by-product of the poultry industry or plucked from live birds, and is used as an insulating fill material in textiles and bedding.

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of every entry, errors in the sources we draw from can always occur.
