Is Martius Yellow vegan?

Martius Yellow is a synthetic organic dye historically used to protect wool from moths and as a biological stain. It is prepared by nitration of naphthol and is classified as a nitro dye. It is also known as Naphthol Yellow and Acid Yellow 24.
