Is Mollusc vegan?

Molluscs (phylum Mollusca) are a large group of invertebrate animals including snails, clams, oysters, mussels, squid, and octopuses. They are used in food and some cosmetic applications and are neither vegan nor vegetarian as their use involves killing animals.

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources.
