Is Nigrosin vegan?

Nigrosin is a mixture of black synthetic dyes produced by heating nitrobenzene, aniline, and hydrochloric acid in the presence of copper or iron. It is used as a colorant in lacquers, varnishes, and marker inks, and is related to the induline class of phenazine-based compounds.
