Is Oleyl Alcohol vegan?

A long-chain unsaturated fatty alcohol derived from natural fats and oils, including beef tallow and fish oil, or produced synthetically from esters of oleic acid. It is used in cosmetics as an emollient, emulsifier, and viscosity-controlling agent.
