Is Pigment Red 179 vegan?

Pigment Red 179 is a synthetic organic pigment structurally derived from perylene, produced from perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride through reaction with methylamine. It is used as a high-performance pigment in coatings, plastics, and inks and is also known as Perylene Maroon or Vat Red 23.
