Is Polypeptide vegan?

A polypeptide is a chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds, commonly derived from animal proteins (e.g. collagen, keratin, silk) but also obtainable from plant proteins. Used in cosmetics for conditioning, film-forming, and moisturising properties.

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of every entry, errors in the sources we draw from can always occur.
