Is Qiviut vegan?

Qiviut

Not Vegan

Qiviut is the soft underwool of the muskox (Ovibos moschatus), harvested by combing the animal during its natural moulting season. It is one of the finest natural fibres in the world, used in luxury knitwear. As an animal-derived fibre, it is not vegan, but its harvesting does not require killing the animal.
