sr-Dog Polypeptide-4 is also known as IGF-1.

sr-Dog Polypeptide-4 is a recombinant single-chain protein produced by fermentation of genetically modified E. coli. The synthetic gene is designed to be identical to the gene encoding dog Insulin-Like Growth Factor, so although the sequence originates from an animal, the protein itself is produced synthetically by microbial fermentation without animal-derived material.
