Is Sun Yellow vegan?

Sun Yellow is a direct yellow azo dye used for dyeing textile fibres. It is a synthetic organic dye belonging to the direct dye class, applied primarily to cellulosic fibres. It is also known by its Colour Index generic name Direct Yellow 11.
