Is Talloweth vegan?

Talloweth refers to ethoxylated tallow-derived ingredients used in cosmetics as emulsifiers and surfactants. They are derived from animal tallow (rendered beef or mutton fat) and are therefore not vegan or vegetarian.

Classifications are made to the best of our knowledge based on available scientific and regulatory sources. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of every entry, errors in the sources we draw from can always occur.
