Is Thymolphthalein vegan?

Thymolphthalein is a synthetic phthalein dye used as an acid–base (pH) indicator with a transition range of approximately pH 9.3–10.5. Below this range it is colourless; above it, it turns blue. It belongs to the phthalide and phenol chemical classes.
