Is Vat Blue 6 vegan?

Vat Blue 6 is a synthetic vat dye used for dyeing cellulosic textile fibres in blue shades. It is applied through a reduction-oxidation (vatting) process. It is a synthetic organic dye produced from non-animal precursors.
