Is Aldioxa vegan?

Aldioxa

Unconfirmed

Aldioxa is an aluminium dihydroxy allantoinate complex used in cosmetics as an astringent and skin-conditioning agent. Like Alcloxa, its allantoin component may be derived from animal uric acid (e.g. from cattle) or from plant sources such as comfrey, or produced synthetically. Its vegan status depends on the source of allantoin used.
