Is Algae-Derived Liposomes vegan?

Liposomes are microscopic lipid vesicles used as delivery systems in cosmetics to encapsulate and transport active ingredients into the skin. When algae-derived, the phospholipids used to form the vesicle structure are sourced from algae rather than soy, egg, or animal lecithin.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
