Is Aluminum Dimyristate vegan?

Aluminum Dimyristate is the aluminum salt of myristic acid, used as a thickening and opacifying agent in cosmetics. Myristic acid can be derived from plant sources (e.g. nutmeg, coconut) or animal fats.
