Not Vegan

Amerchol is a trade name for lanolin-derived emollients and emulsifiers used in cosmetics and personal care products. Lanolin is obtained from the wool grease (sebaceous secretion) of sheep, extracted during the processing of wool. It is not vegan as it is an animal-derived product, but it is generally considered vegetarian as it does not require slaughter.
