Apple Cider Vinegar is a vinegar produced by the spontaneous fermentation of the juice expressed from the fruit of Malus domestica (apple), in which yeast first converts sugars to ethanol, followed by bacterial conversion of ethanol to acetic acid.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
