Is Artemia Extract vegan?

Artemia Extract is an extract obtained from brine shrimp, Artemia salina, small crustaceans found in salt lakes. As an animal-derived ingredient, its extraction involves the use/killing of the organism.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
