Is Auramine O vegan?

Auramine O is a diarylmethane dye that appears as yellow needle crystals in its pure form. It is used as a fluorescent stain in histology and microbiology, particularly for the detection of acid-fast bacteria, and is insoluble in water but soluble in ethanol and DMSO.
