Aurintricarboxylic acid

Vegan

Aurintricarboxylic acid (ATA) is a synthetic organic compound that readily polymerises in aqueous solution, forming a stable free radical. It is a potent inhibitor of ribonuclease and topoisomerase II, and is used as a biochemical research reagent due to its ability to inhibit protein–nucleic acid interactions and apoptosis.
