Bromocresol Green (BCG) is a synthetic pH indicator dye belonging to the triphenylmethane and sulfonephthalein families, used in microbiological growth media, titrations, and thin-layer chromatography. It is widely employed in clinical diagnostics to measure serum albumin concentration in blood samples.
