Is C12-16 Alcohols vegan?

C12-16 Alcohols are a mixture of fatty alcohols with carbon chain lengths from 12 to 16, used as emulsifiers and emollients; they may be derived from plant sources (e.g. coconut or palm) or synthetically produced.
