Is C30-50 Alkyl Beeswax vegan?

C30-50 Alkyl Beeswax is an ester of beeswax fatty acids with C30-50 alcohols, used as a thickening and texturizing agent in cosmetics. It is derived from beeswax, an animal (insect) product, but its harvesting does not require killing bees.
