Is Canola Sterols vegan?

Canola Sterols is a mixture of phytosterols obtained from canola oil (Brassica napus, low in erucic acid), used in cosmetics as skin-conditioning agents.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
