Is Congo Corinth vegan?

Congo Corinth is a synthetic direct azo dye used primarily for dyeing cellulosic textiles. It is structurally related to Congo Red but is a distinct dye with its own Colour Index number. Like related azo dyes, its use in textiles has declined due to safety concerns.
