Crocidolite, also known as blue asbestos, is a fibrous form of the mineral riebeckite, a sodium-iron amphibole silicate mined from natural rock deposits; it is a recognised human carcinogen.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
