Fucosyllactose is a fucosylated trisaccharide composed of L-fucose, D-galactose, and D-glucose, most notably 2'-fucosyllactose, the most abundant human milk oligosaccharide. For commercial use it is typically produced via microbial fermentation or enzymatic synthesis rather than isolated from human milk.
