Fullerenes are a class of carbon allotrope molecules characterized by hollow cage-like structures composed of five- and six-membered carbon rings, such as C60 (buckminsterfullerene). They are produced synthetically and used in cosmetics as antioxidants.

An ingredient is considered vegan if it contains no animal-derived components at any point in its production.
