Hydrolyzed Swiftlet Nest Extract is a hydrolysate of swiftlet nest extract, derived from the solidified saliva nests built by swiftlet birds, processed by acid, enzyme, or other hydrolysis methods. As an animal (bird) product it is not vegan, but since no slaughter is required to harvest the nests it is considered vegetarian.
