Lanolate

Not Vegan

Lanolate is a cosmetic ingredient derived from lanolin, the waxy oil produced by the sebaceous glands of wool-bearing animals such as sheep. It is used as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent in cosmetics and lip balm products. As a sheep-derived ingredient, it is not vegan, though sheep are not killed during extraction.
