Lauramine Oxide, also known as lauryldimethylamine oxide (LDAO), is a synthetic amine oxide-based zwitterionic surfactant with a C12 alkyl chain. It is used as a foam booster and viscosity modifier in cleansing products and is also used in biochemistry for protein purification.
