Is Laureth-100 vegetarian?

Laureth-100 is a polyethylene glycol ether of lauryl alcohol with approximately 100 moles of ethylene oxide, used as a surfactant and emulsifier. Lauryl alcohol can be derived from plant sources (e.g. coconut, palm) or synthetically.

An ingredient is considered vegetarian if it avoids components derived from killing an animal.
