Luteolin is a naturally occurring flavone found in a wide variety of plants and plant-derived foods including celery, parsley, broccoli, onion leaves, carrots, and chamomile. It is a yellow crystalline solid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Luteolin is also found in some plant extracts used in cosmetics and traditional medicine.
