Is Menthyl Acetate vegan?

Menthyl Acetate is a natural monoterpene ester, the acetate ester of menthol, which contributes to the smell and flavor of peppermint and constitutes 3–5% of Mentha piperita essential oil; it can also be produced synthetically.
