Is Myristamide MEA vegan?

A fatty acid amide formed from myristic acid and monoethanolamine, used in cosmetics as a thickener and foam booster. Myristic acid may be derived from plant sources (e.g. coconut or palm kernel oil) or animal fats, so the origin can vary by manufacturer.
